When you’re out of ideas for writing your blogs, you might think that’s the end of the line, and that you’ll lose all of the credibility your website generates because of your consistent updating. However, this doesn’t have to be the case. Just because you haven’t had any new ideas in a week doesn’t mean that others haven’t. That isn’t to say that you should copy, but looking around to other blogs, trends, and websites can help kick-start your ability to write. Here are a couple of additional ideas on where to look to rock your content.
Hot Trends on Google and Twitter
Finding hot trends on these two websites is exceedingly easy. For Twitter, all you need to do is click on the “what’s trending?” button on the front page. From there on out, it’s easy to see what people are interested in at the time. Even if you’re in the electronics niche and one of the things that happens to be trending right now is Madonna, that doesn’t mean you can't use Madonna in one of your posts. You can simply give tips about what a person might be able to learn from Madonna. This rings true for Google Trends as well; whatever’s hot on Google will almost guarantee that you see more traffic coming to your website.
Review Something Valuable in Your Niche
The product you want to review should be something that won’t compete with you directly, but will still be helpful to your audience. For example, if your audience is a crowd of music listeners, maybe reviewing the newest iPod or MP3 player to hit the market will spark some interest. Make sure you share some of your expertise as well in your review post.
