Looking for easy, fast ways to expose your business to new eyes? It’s not as hard as you think, and even if you’re low on time, you can still utilize the two following techniques.
Look Around for Guest Blog Opportunities
Guest blogging will not only force you to find new topics and figure out new ideas that will interest people (and that you can maybe use in your own business), but it will give your business exposure as well. Most guest blogs allow the people who submit guest blogs to include a link or two in the text or, at the very least, a blurb at the bottom discussing their business and what they do. Every time you post a blog at a guest site, you're exposing your business to a new audience that you would not have been able to access otherwise. Make sure you post at legitimate blogs, however - if you post at blogs that are full of spam or aren't really well-established blogs, sometimes potential clients may look down on your sales tactics.
When Commenting on Other Blogs, Be Insightful
Though saying someone did an excellent job writing an advice post is nice, be more thorough - and helpful. Just saying that someone did a good job isn't going to really establish you as an expert anywhere. Add value to the post itself - maybe by adding your own piece of advice to the advice given in the blog - or discuss topics in depth in other people's threads. Most blogs give you the option of including your name, e-mail, and website in all of the posts you make. Take advantage of this to make comments on people's blogs that link back to your website and give them a chance to contact you if they need to.
