So you’re going blank. You’ve finally made the steps you need to start your newsletter for your email marketing campaign, but you have no idea what you want to write. You stare at a blank template until you can’t stare anymore. You go to close it and decide that maybe tomorrow will bring better results – but wait! Don’t do that. When you’re completely clueless on what to include in your newsletter, content may be closer than it first appears. Check out these three places you should look to find content worth including in your newsletter.
Website
This may seem like you’re being redundant, but that’s not true at all. If you have valuable information on your website, then it’s important you include it in any correspondence with anyone that could possibly be interested in buying your services. Even if you don’t want to pull content directly off your site, include a link at least.
Marketing Information
Do you have any sales sheets, paper newsletters, or brochures? Even bite-sized pieces of information off of mediums like these can be used for inspiration for your email campaign. Grab some information off of marketing poster and turn it into something big in your campaign. Maybe it’s a coupon, an invitation, a statistic, or a potential article.
New Product Literature
Have you launched a new product recently? The good news: here’s an opportunity for you to talk about it. It can be a whole section about what problems the product solves, or it can be a link to your website where it talks about the product or service in full. It’s completely up to you, but it’s likely someone will want to read about it.
